First, Richard and I would like to say THANK YOU to all of our loyal customers who supported us even before we opened the store. We will miss seeing you all, but hope that through our Facebook fan page and email, we can all stay in touch.
The decision to close the store was a hard one, this was (and still is my dream) – and I am almost SURE that we will open again someday. I won’t go into a lot of detail about why we closed, other than to say it was in the best interest of our family to do so. Timing is everything, and we will do this again when the timing is better.
Our close-out sale was phenomenal and we hope that everyone was able to find a few bargains. It was a tremendous help to us to be able to sell it at a discount, rather than move it. So again, thank you to everyone who came by last week.
Now for our news!! Mike & Brenda Paply from Paply’s Antique Mall have been able to offer Burlap & Biscuits Home Decor a space in their building in Killeen! We have a small section in the store that we will keep stocked as best as possible and hopefully give our customers a place to continue to shop! Paply’s is loaded with all sorts of fabulous treasures and lots of great booths from many local folks. Please, when you have a chance in the next couple of weeks, stop by and check it out. From Killeen, you will exit Hwy 195/Fort Hood street and head South (like you’re going to Florence) – as soon as you pass over Stan Schlueter Loop – just past Country Secrets Western Wear – you will see Paply’s on the right. (Look for the metal buildings and gazebos)
The Burlap & Biscuits Home Decor booth should be up and running by Feb 13th – and I will keep everyone up-to-date on the progress through our Facebook page! http://www.facebook.com/burlapandbiscuits
